430 Lincoln!!Cool.Did a search on ebay and only came up with two hits. Not much out there for these engines.I`m wondering if it is worth the trouble to hall a few parts of these engine and sell them.Tring to find a way to fund the next project fitzee
My V8 book, The "ULTIMATE" V8 1949-1974, book as the title says gets another blemish on its record. No pics of any Lincoln stuff. The first blemish is that there is no info on the Flatheads from 49-53.
[ QUOTE ] little car!!big engine!!getty up [/ QUOTE ] You've got this in your tagline and you're not immediately thinking of building your own "Hot Rod Lincoln"? I reiterate my inquiry about the FE valve covers and aircleaner.

Fitzee- that Lincoln motor is a "MEL"!! (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln). Looking pretty rough, and kinda hard to get parts for by all accounts, but a torque Monster!! High 400s. Do a HAMB search on MEL (or google too). Lotsa info. Also, check here: http://www.network54.com/Forum/message?forumid=257364&messageid=1068321422 Glad to see your ice has melted
