Technical ID this magneto?

    Does anyone recognize this magneto? This is the only picture I've got and can't quite make out the stamp on it. Supposed to go on a Ford Flathead V8. magnito.jpg

    Cap looks like 1942-1948 Ford.

    What does the stamping on the main body say?

    Yup, the cap is a ford crab cap, but whats the rear end look like to know if it mounts on a ford flathead. Looks pretty long too, might run out of room on most applications.

    Would need to see some more pictures, but could be one of the many different types George Pounden converted from various aircraft magnetos.
    Kinda reminds me of the Pounden Grand Prix in a way.

    I'm looking at a 27 Track T Roadster project that comes with a Merc flathead and a variety of speed parts not yet assembled. This part I don't recognize and haven't seen it "in person" yet.
