Technical ID this speedometer sender. PLEASE!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by hotrodA, Sep 21, 2024.

  1. This is still screwed in the 41 pickup trans in my 40 coupe.
The Classic Instruments Speedo in it is now working off some GPS signal receiver.
    Can anybody ID this?
    Mechanical to electronic converter?
It has a four pole terminal on the top, and you can see the blocked off hole above it.
Is it OE Classic Instruments sender that quit?
Just curious as to why it’s still there.
    Thanks!

Looks like a Classic Instruments SN16.

  3. I agree. They are not too expensive and usually come with the harness.

  4. Thanks guys! Appreciate the help!
Planning on a total rewire later on so may use one if I don’t blow the tranny.
