ID this UFO hot rod !!

    My Brother in Law tFook these pics in about 1975ish. We were trying to figure out what it was made from. Im thinking it is from a 1936 Ford or something close to it. It had a 53 Caddy engine and a Ford tranny. What do you think it is?[​IMG] If you had it today you would cuss it as a Rat Rod would'nt you. I know I would. Pretty wild stuff!

    Probably 39 Ford chassis, 37 Ford hood sides, front fenders are Ford sparetire rings, and the rear fenders look Mopar to me.

    Looks like it might have been inspired by "El Caballo de Hierro." Ak Miller and Hot Rod Magazine built it to compete in La Carrera PanAmericana (Mexican Road Race) about a thousand years ago.
