Been staring at my sedan for a week now just taking in what I have and now that a life long dream is here I don't know where to start. I've got a gennie 32 frame to use if I want but I also have a great a frame too. The things that are solid are the following : No chopped top. Not channeled. No fenders Quick change rear end Chevy ii four banger and a five speed Dropped and drilled I beam front axle Diskbrakes all around cause I have them now and they are pure race car parts too. Moon disk and big and littles on it. The paint is so good on the body I'm going to use it as is with the canvas top Im still fighting the picture issue with this phone right now. Think I'm gonna run the hood too. Its so perfect it almost hurts to look at it. Still don't have a clue how to steer it I like the cross steer Vega but its far from traditional but I also say this is a hot rod first and period perfect second. I'm just a little overwhelmed right now I guess I've got a file full of pics and notes and idea and pages filed over in magazines just venting I guess where do I start.
Use cross steer....4 wheel discs, 4cyl Chev, and T-5 aren't traditional anyway Sounds like a good plan
The idea sounds pretty good to me with the exception of the disc brakes, even though they are race car inspired the simplicity of drum brakes on a non fendered cars just look right IMHO. HRP
The reason for the disk brakes is because my quickchange is champ style and has them on it and I have a set of sprint car calipers for the front as fat as cross steer or an f1 box I just don't want the look of the drag Link out the cowl on this build lime I said I'm just overwhelmed with ideas and don't k ow where to start
