Slim Pickens did a quick colorization and scallops over the sketch Jigger did for me. both did their thing SUPER fast. thanks guys.

so the color Jimmy picked for the car is 2008 Corvette "Atomic Orange". more of a copper than an orange if you ask me. we were looking for a color like this and happened upon it in the color books.
we want some nice, classy scallops. nothing to big and fat and nothing gaudy. Jimmy was thinking black scallops but i think that would look a little too "Ol Skool Rods" for me. if i'm gonna do the work (for free) it's gonna be a design i believe in. i'm trying to talk him into the off white.

you can see the scallop color i'm after in the scallops on this Fleetline.

so, (and i can't believe i'm saying this on the HAMB) what do you think??

  5. I vote for the off white scallops , those will look awesome with the Atomic Orange.

Not to swerve your thread, but did you have any luck getting the rear side
    window trim removed?

nope. i took off the inside trim and could not find any screw or nuts. according to the****embly manual it is held on with screws BUT it does'nt actually show any pics or offer any diagrams.
i still need to figure that out but i got set back a couple days when i accidentally let all the smoke out of my compressor motor. and would'nt you know it the first replacement motor i got was bad. it had me thinking there was something wrong with the power coming into my garage but after 2 days of*****in around i finally took the new motor back and exchanged it. the NEW new one works perfectly! go figure.

P.S. i'm realy thinking about taking the upper scallop all the way back to the center of the rear door.
