Use the sedan body. Mount the engine on a long frame. Exposed, of course. Use a truck solid front axle and dually rear axle, like from an old dump truck or something. These will provide the correct scale for the engine. 18 wheeler wheels and tires - tall and skinny - frame heavy to match, body widened or lengthened slightly as needed.

Somehow gear it really low (high) - like 2:1. Ultra high speed cruiser at no rpm. Perfect. You'll see 15 mpg at 60 mph.
