    ....

Back in october, I bought this dash panel/gauge cluster at Fredericia Swapmeet, with the intent to use it in an Art Deco inspired build. But I haven’t been able to find the make and model, it came out off- which I need, in order to search the missing gauge/-s to fill the panel up.

This is the backside of the speedometer, which searching lead to it might be ‘30 Plymouth. But I haven’t been able to confirm it:

Thanx in advance for the help!

  2. 1930 DE SOTO . You might want to have a look inside that speedo first. If the outside is crumbling away and rotting there is a good chance the insides are also pulverised from old age. Those speedo parts inside are made of a mixture of alloys and just crumble away .

  4. Thanks a bunch! I would never have figured that out for my self! :-D
Yeah, I'll see if I can mold it in there, and when the dash-design is ready, I'll take it apart - it would be kuul to get it working, but it's more important to get the car running first! ;-)
Yeah, that picture did it for me! Thanx, @vtwhead! :-D

It would likely be quite expensive, but I believe a company like Classic Instruments could custom fit that panel with new gauges and retain the old style appearance.
