History Identify chrome "fifties" emblem

Anyone seen anything like this??? About 5" by 2".

Don't think it is from an auto. Maybe a retro vending machine or carnival ride??

Thoughts????

 

It appears to be the headpiece from a Franklin Mint display shelf.
