This one is a bit of a mystery. This box is in a RHD Ford Anglia based T-bucket built in the 1960s. The entire running gear is Anglia but my Anglia contact doesn't recognise it, so what can it be?
    Thanks

I saw something similar in LHD in an old magazine recently...cannot remember what/where.
The owner toured a junkyard looking for a quick draglink box and found an aluminum one that he described only as 1963 Fiat, a rather murky description. At that time 500's and 600s were imported here, and one occasionally saw bigger Fiats, meaning ones with 4 digits in their displacement.
Whatever it was, I would****ume they made the same in RHD for England and Sweden.

  3. It appears to me that it has been cut and ground on, to perhaps remove some other type of mounting arrangement.
