Identify this speedometer ????

  3. I doubt it. It looks 1940s. 100mph snowmobile back then? I don't know. I'm blank.

    There is a listing and parts break down in a Stewart Warner book from the mid 50's but it doesn't say what it fits which usually means it was called a trade speedometer, sold in the aftermarket.

  6. It kinda looks like an old SW unit, but I'm pretty sure they marked all of their units my name. Although it looks a lot like a 32' Ford unit..
    Military surplus is a strong possibility.

    100 MPH is pretty fast for most military applications. I'll check around the shop and see if I have anything written down.

    My guess would be from a vintage motorcycle
