Identify this tach ?

I found this tach in my dads old stuff, and have no idea what it came from. It is an all metal housing, and appears to be very good quality. I found no make, but there is a part number. It sat on his shelves since at least 1985.

Any ideas?

Very cool, I thought it looked like OE GM, but never been a big GM guy...

 

I had one similar to that in a '65 Olds Jetfire 425.

 

yep, 64-65 Olds Cutl*** / 442 .
the starfire was slightly differant, it had a black housing and a point on the center lense
