Technical identify what's buried on the beach *excavation has begun!*

Might be a 1920's Buick by the hubcap and this diagram....

 

good id! rear axle does look like that with the double brake rods.

 

the rear has quarter elliptical springs and the fronts are parallel.

 

Pretty cool find. I would grab that cool Buick "hubcap" if nothing else.

I grew up near a lake in Colorado that covered a town when they filled it (Vallacito Res). Supposedly there are several old Model A's in about 60 ft of water. I have always thought it would be fun to try to salvage something from them.

i was thinking how easy it would be to sand blast, a compressor and a siphon hose.

 

I think you'd be wise to spread some dryer sheets around your excavation area. They won't actually do anything, but you'll look like a professional....... sort of.
