Identity this bumper please

    Who can help me out? I think this bumper is from a early '60 gm car but i'm not sure... I did check some old books and the good old Google but no matches.

  2. Well hell that's Herb, damn I thought he was dead. LOL

    If I had to fathom a guess I would say that it is a late '50s Pontiac. Look for a Pontiac safari wagon say around '58-'60.

    Damn.....just saw that bumper on a custom front end from the Sha Boom guy's car collection....tri five Chevy custom....but yes....its a rear bumper from something. I am no help obviously....

    It appears to be an upside-down '61/'62 Cadillac rear bumper...it also looks like the seams have been welded shut and the "taillights", if that's what they are, have been added, altho at this point I don' tknow what they are off of...

    I think 40stude is on the right track, he beat me to it. I'm not saying this is it but it's close...
    1962 caddy he****. Maybe the ambulance is the same too? I dunno, I'm not a caddy guy.

    Only knew that because I had a boss (when I was in college) at a well known national "guitar" chain store that drove one. [Shiver] I despise early 60's Caddy's to this day, but I'm not bitter, so it doesn't matter, hahaha

    Thanks guys, there are not many cadillac he**** photo's in my book so you really helped me out :) I'm going to make a nice wall piece with that bumper
