Just a reminder that the ididit open house will be held at the shop in Tecumseh Michigan on the 3rd of October. Pre-registration is not necessary(it's free anyway)and the cars usually start arriving before dawn. I don't know if the new owners are going to carry on the tradition(hopefully they will) but it is always a great turn out even if the weather is less than perfect(haven't checked the forecast yet). For those who may not be aware Ken and Jane Callison recently sold the business to Lane Automotive after nearly 30 years. As they are also automotive oriented I'm sure they will carry on the traditions that Ken worked so hard to build over the years. So if you have nothing to do on Saturday stop by and see some great cars and tour the factory where the columns are built. The Lions club sets up to do breakfast and lunch inside for very reasonable money. And the trophies are spectacular! Miniature hand made steering columns and wheels mounted on a crystal base. I'll have the Safari there so if you see it and me stop by and say hello. Here are a couple of pics from a past show.
I talked to the Ididit folks at Nats North and they plan to keep it going. I had planned on going but have another committment now that wont allow it-maybe next year
