On my 56 Olds, I have 4 lights, that use a key on hot, and are lit by a sender that completes circuit to ground. My car didn't come with any wiring, or sockets for the dash. SO I am trying to find the number light bulb for these specific lights. Even my shop manual, listed all the bulbs, except these! Also, there must be a special socket for them, isolated from ground, and using 2 wires (one for hot, one for ground). Anyone know what bulbs these take? And if there is an aftermarket socket for them (5/8" hole)? Can an LED be used, especially for the Generator light?
While I can't address the Olds specifically, all I've seen use the same lamps as the dash lights, generally a 3W lamp. You are correct, all will need a socket with an isolated ground. A LED probably won't work (especially for the generator) so you'll need conventional lamps for these. I suspect these sockets are more-or-less 'generic', digging under some mid-'50s to '60s era dashes should turn up what you need.
53 and 57 bulb where the general size lamp used along with... https://www.ronfrancis.com/product/615 Another page for review https://www.ronfrancis.com/category/sockets-and-socket-repair

Junkyard is probably the best source, taking a battery to verify function ie small 12 v bike / quad, most yards don’t care at all about lights so I pull ad many as I can per trip
This is probably what you want, with a #57 bulb in it. https://www.ronfrancis.com/product/615 which is another way of saying, listen to Johnny
Those one wire sockets won't work for what he needs, unfortunately. NAPA might have some two wire sockets, if you can figure out how to find them, I'm not very good with their online catalog
Napa online does suck. I’ve seen posted here (HAMB) before that they do have them. Seems to be found easier asking for an International rather than any GM product.
This is the socket that my '54 Ranch Wagon uses for the oil pressure and generator idiot light. The socket has a separate ground that is broken when the engine gets oil pressure or the alternator in my case starts to charge. It takes a 1445 bulb. I got mine mine Y n Z's. https://www.store.ynzyesterdaysparts.com/
Look here, they have great info: https://www.bulbtown.com/Miniature_Bulbs_By_Number_s/53.htm You can pretty much get what fits (base, bulb and voltage/watts). As for replacement wires/contacts I usually buy the universal 2 wire sockets (the same size you need) and just pull the wire/contact out (you can even re use the board if you make it fit). Sometimes you can find just the wires with the contacts.
Remind what the forth lamp would be. I know there are two for the temp (cold and hot) one for gen and the other is?
