Event Coverage If Lloyd has a get together, would you come?

We touched on this in another thread a while back, but here's what I'm thinking. A get together at my place next fall. A whole weekend, Friday-Sunday. Plenty of property, bonfire, band on Saturday night, food truck, take a cruise together on Saturday through Natural Bridge Park and the Nada tunnel, camping at my place, or hotels nearby. Just a good time hanging out and talking cars. I'll provide just about everything needed, and you can buy food from the food truck, plus we'll roast a pig. I truly don't care if there is 5 people or 50, but I'd like to have an idea of who would be interested in it. @scotty t @enloe @sidewayzz69 @38Chevy454 @scofflaw there is room across the road from me for trailers if you wanted to haul your car here. Me and Ashley would love to have anybody that would like to come. If you camp, you're welcome to shower in the house, and I'll rent a porta- toilet. So who's interested in such an event? Also Cave Run Lake state park is about 15 minutes from me.

 

If my Vicky is together, ( hoping for Spring), I'd love to come. Rose and I are not campers, motel/hotel people, and the gathering sounds great!

 

Hotels are about 15 minutes from me, and there are cabin rentals all around cave run lake. Love to have ya there!

I doubt the wife would join me tho.

 

First thing Ashley said when I brought this up was "think Scotty will come down?" I said if I have to go get him, I'll make sure he's here!

Hey if I get a few folks say that they wanna do this, all ya really need is gas money to get here and a tent lol... I'll have a fish fry one day, get the Mexican food truck here one day, roast a pig, I'll provide drinks and everything else. There's a couch to the first that claims it lol... upholstery shop has plenty of room for sleeping bags, body shop ain't much of a place I'd wanna sleep though lol... lot of the cabins around the lake are in the $100 a night range. Hotels are a little less.

 

I always thought Owingsville was another name for Owensboro. I didn't realize you were on the other side of the state.
I think I've stayed at all the Resort State Parks in Kentucky, many while traveling in my hotrod.
You are about 7 hour drive from us.

 

Yeah we're about 30 minutes east of Lexington. 2.5 miles off of I-64. Out in the country.

To get squirrel involved, you have to coordinate location and dates with beginning or end of hot rod drag week.

 

8200 miles in my case, including an ocean. My wife has been experiencing bonfire withdrawal symptoms, though.
