    This is beginning to sound like one of Breeder's(Tod Reed, R. I. P.) Rust Revivals.

    I put it on my calendar, but who knows what'll happen. They also release the LeMons Rally schedule for next year yesterday, those also involve a long drive, none of them are "right" for any of my other trip ideas. And I might be copiloting on Drag Week next year, if my friend gets his car ready.

    IDK. Mayby Lloyd can get a large keg(or 3, or 15+)of 'shine. I'm sure there're lots of "local" producers around there that would "show-off" their talents, in secret... :D . Probably would make for an interesting time, film might not be a good idea. :D .

    Unfortunately I don't see anyway that I can plan to do this. With my wife's MS and my personal health issues I don't think there is a feasible way to pull it off. I will have to attend in spirit only, and look forward to reading all about the fun and meeting everyone that I will be missing out on.

    Lloyd,

    Ya think you could let in geezers? Fifty years ago we were a lot more fun to party with, but now we're just old.

    HOWEVER, we should have Clarence on the road by then and when we get it back we plan to drive the wheels off'n' it.

    We (fairly) regularly road trip to Knoxville/Sevierville/Johnson City to see relatives and you wouldn't be very far out of the way on one of those trips. We usually go through Nashville but occasionally go through Lexington. So if you'll accept us boring old folks we'd love to drop in.

    @57 Fargo ,

    If you drive down I'll definitely make it a point to go also. I'd love to see your pickup or convert. You can stay at our house the last night on the road getting there and we can drive to there together. It's about 500 miles from here to Owingsville. Google says it's about 7 1/2 hours of seat time so with stops we should make it in 10 hours clock time.

    Heck Atch, I figured I'd be the youngest here age wise! Would love to have you and the panel truck here, I think there's gonna be a wide variety of age groups and cars, and that's what I want to see. Just everybody having a good time and enjoying the hobby!

    If this many HAMBers invade Lloyd's neck of the woods, the locals are gonna think this is like the Apalachin mob meeting in 1957, but with wise guys disguised as car guys. The population of Lloyd's county could double overnight!

    Wish I could go, but now being on a fixed income, not a lot left for a long trip like that. Gonna have to wait and see what happens between now and then…

    The new engine and trans are in the shop right now so they Lucille, my '54 Ranch Wagon should be up and running and ready for a serious road trip by next October. Only 2166 miles per Mr. Google. And EMS says the rear floor patch panels should be available by February 2023. If the stars align I'm in. LA Roadster show requirements of shiny paint and finished upholstery won't be an entrance requirement, correct?

    Hey, Lloyd;
    Kinda figured... Actually, I rarely drink, as I don't like the effects, or the after-effects. But I'd be up for a lot of taste-testing different varieties, maybe to take some home. Only a pipedream for the moment, we'll see how things shake-out. Hopefully, I'll be healed ok by then from my new-to-me reinjury. Other life-problems still need workaround.
    While probably not possible, seeing a working still set-up & talking to him/them would be fun, as I took a hands-on course yrs ago in still-building, operating, etc, at a vo-tec, was a lot of fun.
