If money was no object, I wouldn't waste my time building anymore but go out and buy the finest duesenberg I could find and then get a paper route for a few weeks and use it on it just to screw with people's mind.

Otherwise I would have said something from Brookville but that still might be a reality yet. All depends on what happens the next couple of years in the stock market and if I sell the farm. I'm serious if I sell the farm.

mine would be a 59 buick le sabre station wagon, all original chrome, no mods, lowered, a late model drive train with a overdrive tranny and a/c with a custom roof rack for luggage and it would be the family car for summer vacations and the dogs would be in the cargo area since the luggage would be on the roof

I didnt count them all but sure sounds like an all steel 41 Willys coupe with a blown Hemi is the "if I had the money" dream car for this thread. I guess I am a lucky guy to have one.........:D
Its been my dream car for as long as I can remember, and money is a big issue with me but, you only live once in this material world we live in.

I've got another one to add...

A '28 Willys Whippet Roadster, altered style, set back injected Boss 429, 4spd, 9 inch... Slicks, nose in the air, spindle mounts, no fenders, full tube frame with cage, hide a radiator in the back incase I ever get the need to terrorize the streets... And then top it off with a wild paint job, and a cool name... I can see it now...

The Merc from the movie Cobra!

Ok...that was a joke. I guess for me it would be a traditional 32 Ford highboy roadster with a flathead.

  18. I might kill for it too, a beauty for sure:cool:

    1. finish the B-59 (with some mild chop this time)

    2. a full-fendered circa '46 full-custom, like the aeroplane-inspired streamlined jobs they penned around WWII, something like this (but with a much more 'coupe'y greenhouse) :

or the Tucker Torpedo prototype (w/ central steering & movable fenders).

another idea... Altered wheel base '64 Chevelle, powered by a nitro guzzling blown and injected 401 AMC, backed by a Clutchflite trans, and a stout 8 lug Poncho rear.. 5 Spoke American Mags front and rear, white pearl paint, red flake lettering, with silver and gold leafing... Single bucket seat, red flake wheel, and a red flaked dash, nothing else aside from a chromed cage on the inside and some engine turned aluminium panels on the floor and door panels.. And I'd call it the WTF Flyer..

If money wasn't an issue I'd build my own re-creation of Jack Chrisman's 65 Comet. Just finding and buying a SOHC 427 is unreal nowadays!!!!

I have a 41 Willys I'm working on now but my first choice would be a perfect bodied steel 40 Willys coupe (probably the one pictured) then a chopped steel 32 5 window with slick black paint or the 3 window pictured. I have no reason to complain about what I have but finished cars would be great. Since I don't see a lot of money in my future, I guess I am as close to my dreams as I will get. :)
