Black '33 coupe with Pontiac and hydro like Desatoff's.
Jade green '50 Ford convertible mild custom with nailhead.
White over gold '53 Studebaker with 390 Cad and T85 with overdrive.
White '55 C300 Chrysler funny car with NASCAR suspension, rollcage, big 4-wheel disc brakes, Donovan 417 with twin Holset turbos, Jericho trans and Strange 9" rear.
Red over white '56 Rambler with a built AMC 327 with 2-4s and twin Paxtons.
And a few that haven't occurred to me because I don't think this far outside the box very often.

I don't think I would build anything... I would just buy historical cars and drive the shit out
of them... Plus I would have a huge garage on my own island in Tahiti.

thats if Money was not an issue.

  22. I'm partial to '59 Pontiacs, I'd be happy with a mild custom, lowered, shaved, factory style buckets, console, 389 with tri-power and 4-speed. Candy paint with flaked top. Would be a Star Chief or Bonneville with the wide taillights. And it would probably be either a 4-door hardtop (maybe converted to 2-door) or the 2-door post sedan. '59s just natually look pissed off from the front, but in a good way.

Of course if money was no option there'd be a '31 A coupe next to it, fenderless with a chop and channel and some oddball motor that makes people scratch their heads. Studebaker maybe.

I am really obsessed with the mooneyham and sharp 554 coupe, so I would probably build a clone to that. a 32 5 window with a really hard chop and a six carb 392 hemi adapted to a muncie and quickchange. That is of course if money was not an option.

I'm driving mine. I'd like to get my wife a 57 Chevy convertable like she had when she was 16. Then I would have her daily driver (85 300zx) totally restored for her. She loves her z car. I like it too, it been paid for for years and years.

It's not traditional, but if money were no object I'd build a pro-mod '95 Lincoln Mark VIII. 820 CID Kaase mated to a Liberty 5-speed.

    :)

I found out many years ago ... that money is no object ... no matter how well off or how poor you are. If you have determination ... you will find a way to get the car you REALLY want. I worked two jobs ( sometimes three ) ... most of my life.

I now have the two cars I always wanted.

The 32 3W is almost finished :) and I am satisfied with the two cars I have.

I do think about a few other cars every now and then ... but the truth is ... any more cars than two ... and the quality of the car relationship goes down ... at least for me. I have had 3 / 4 / 5 hobby project cars before at one time and it just gets to be too much ... at least for me.

I really like 57 Ford 300's ... like this one

I also like a nose up, nasty 40/41 Willys coupe. :D

But all in all ... I have the cars I want

    EDITED ... new photo

  30. I would go completely crazy and have about 100 different cars and hot rods, because money was no problem. I would star with a Duesenberg and end with atleast one Shelby Cobra. I would make Jay Leno look like a rookie. LOL
