Restify a '30's Art Deco car. To outright buy a finished car: the non trad. '55 Chev of Scott Sullivan's. Cheese Wiz rule's my dream's baby.

I would find the 59 chevy wagon my dad had when I was a kid. He sold it because money was an issue. Its the car that started my love for cars. Id fix it the way he wanted it and give it back to him.

I would build an exact replica of the Stone, Woods, and Cook 41 Willys Gasser, and buy Ed Roth's Beatnik Bandit!

So you're in Northern CA and Jones'n for a 65 Comet? Then you oughta give Craig Cook, here in Santa Rosa, a call. Every locale has someone who's the local horder and guru of certain make and model cars......Craig is the local 64-65 Falcon/Comet guy. If he doesn't have one, he'll know where there is one.

Sorry, I don't have his phone number, but now that you've got his name, I'll leave the rest of the search up to you.
    You're welcome........

My ideal car, and one I am doing the basic design work for right now is a '27 Track T with substantial suspension modifications. I want to base it off a stock frame but a formula style fully independent push rod front suspension with shocks/springs mounted inline with the frame. Likewise a fully independent rear, with both being made out of oval "aero" tubing. Powered by a mild '48 flathead, one of my "out there" ideas is a direct injection flathead and the more I look into it I think its more a possibility. For the interior bomber seats wrapped in the now available rawlings baseball glove leather. I would like a car that I can put my engineering skills into, take it to the show, and then to the local autocross or track day for shits and giggles. I have one of those Moleskine notebooks thats great for capturing those "ah-ha" moments before you forget about your latest idea, highly recomended...

  14. I'd buy Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup a complete new bed from Mack Hils, then send Henrietta along with Ozelle the '55 Ford over to my brother in law in Anniston AL to get all the body work really nice on both of them before treating both to good paint jobs. Then buy another old truck to work on with my 10 year old grandson. Maybe a KB series International, always wanted one of those.

I'd build the '37 pickup I'm building now, just to a higher degree. But, of course, the car would become a pain in the ass for me if it was too nice, so....

Then, a full fendered '32 sedan, magnesium 5 spokes, candy, flaked fenders....

I would build one of three cars I'm always dreaming about. One would be a 1928-'29 roadster, another would be a 1930-31 coupe, and the last one would be a 1930-31 sedan. They'd all have Flatheads, but each motor would be very differant in the way they were built. The roadster and coupe would be late '40s period correct, but the sedan wouldn't, though it would be traditional and look like it just came out of the '50s. If I had to chose one, I think I'd go with the roadster though.

I agree with Groucho. And I would finish my '51 AD up first then buy and build every other Hot Rod that my wife and I want.
