If you could own one of the "untouchable" cars what would it be?

Just thought of a few more I'd love to have 3 are mercs, 2 are 4drs. 4dr mercs look way cooler chopped to me than 2dr mercs do. If I had a 2dr mer I would want it un cut.

Lamborgini Mercielago Roadster, Ferrari F40 or my first street rod back again,
it was a 1946 Ford Club Coupe I sold in 1998 to a guy in Bristol CT to pay bills.
Had a '78 Ford 302 that I installed fuel injection on using a Painless Wiring harness, with MII (reversed strut rods), a C4 auto column shifted and a Chassis Engineering dual parallel leaf for the 8 inch Ford rear axle. Ran on Ansen aluminum rims with flat black paint and no bumpers and 2 inches of rake, it looked cool.

I would LOVE to own this one but he is wanting $85,000 so I guess it's "untouchable" to me anyway.

  9. By "untouchable" I presume you mean one that deserves to be left original in its near perfection. To me that would be a Duesenburg or a 31 Cadillac roadster or dual cowl phaeton.

Only ~456 (something like that) made - one for each nationwide Olds Dealer. Sort of like a hens tooth hiding behind a needle in a haystack in the barn of an honest politician!

    WOW alot of great choices.
I'm not sure i could narrow it down to one or two cars.
So many out there i would love to have.

So who wants to open a museum with me?
We will muscle em to donate all the cars in this thread.

Lots of great choices but I wouldn't mind getting my hands dirty for this.

I'd take the crashed Boyce Asquith 32 (It will always be known as such)

And rebuild it to it's former glory.
