  6. Well Danny you know I got a soft spot for '34 Fords and after that I really like '41 Chebbys but this one was a hot rod for damned sure. :D

Not my favorite but I have had a resto/rod shop for over 40 years and have done more 47-55.1 AD Chevy trucks, from mild to wild, than all other trucks combined. Favorite to me is a 34 Ford since it is the last year of the 32 style grill.

  16. I think any of the early style A pickups fit the bill for most everyone but for me, it's a 40 Ford pickup, lowered, bigs and littles, any drivetrain really .... To me it's the epitome of a hot rod pickup - dress it any way you want, including stock, and it just says hot rod ...

When I think of a Hot Rod Truck this is what I see in my simple mind. Every time I see a picture of this truck I just stare in awe to me it is just plain cool! Joe 3a6a0bbeea4f96cdda97ea448b7cdac1.jpg

Rick Flake from Fresno, built this little '34 called 'Bare Bones' back around 10 years ago.

Then he and his son Roy built another '34 called 'Night Crawler'.
