I would definitely want a 33-34 5 -window, so when I refer to it as a 5 window, I don't sound like a goober who just started being interested in old cars last week.

  4. I would never think the two could ever be compared on an even scale.
They are very different, even just in the refinements of hardware and design characteristics.
I suppose most could pick by what's a cooler or more cute dune buggy

The world is really getting to be a strange place when guys start selecting hot rod raw material based on how "adorable" it is...

My first project car was a 1931 Model A coupe. It's still my all time favorite.
I chose a 1933-34 coupe because they are "adorable". And I'm taller and older.

I have 2 A coupes, because I cannot afford a good Model 40. To me, the Model 40 looks like it moving when it's not!

I really like a Model A coupe. The only 34 I like is a 5 window coupe with full fenders.

I have three piles of Model T body parts, its my way of compensating for the fact that I cant afford a full fendered '33 roadster.:(:D

MODEL A OR A MODEL 40------ If I had magic wand----- I'd have a 6" chopped A coupe on 32 rails, low to the ground with statement motor, probably mile deep black paint, appropriate interior---- Nasty Nasty--- little coupe. Take in all the cruise nights, all the traditonal RUMP RUMP shows and enjoy the HELL out of it!!!---- On the other hand----On the occasions when I have to behave myself (usually at my wifes request) and we go out to a respectful event, say dinner at our favorite "only on special occasions" restaurant. I'd REALLY enjoy the **** out of a mile deep marroon painted 33 cabro. Gotta be a 33---(Gotta have THAT grill)---Full fendered-----Low to the ground, Hallibrands, tan leather interior, smooth, big power, late model engine----top up, or down. AND gotta be parked by the restaurants front door. So the BIG GUYS and their wives/girlfriends can stop and HOLY **** all over it. I've been watching Craigs list (can't afford E Bay)----and haven't found a single MAGIC WAND yet. NEVER GIVE UP --- Rinaldi

Ultimately I'd want a '32 five window but after giving it some thought the model 40 wins. 10416604_10203088046471033_8640593537471336947_n.jpg PICT0059.jpg

Since we are talking about model 40's anyway, just thought I would mention, I think this is about the best chop I have ever seen on a Model 40 five window. I know its going to be too subtle for some of the HAMB bad-***es...

Depends on your pocket book. 33,34 is my choice of the three. Model A are much cheaper to start with but, most builds are comparable cost. I am partial to the one in between though.

Come on, most people are going to pick the 33-34. It's like, do you want to have *** with someone who is hot or not? I do like model a's though.

Since we are dreaming anyway, this with my 270hp/283 and T-10, no hood side panels, wide whites with short bar lancers, and '59 Corvette Cl***ic Cream, white interior with pale yellow piping and T&R inserts, and 7" arrows. Man, I would be in my happy place...
