That's what the Hamb Relay was about. I guess they are quite a few who never heard of it

  4. Several times a week I am contacted
    about transporting a vehicle for
    someone - after discussing options
which are in their best interest ….

    The communication ends with
    useful information they did
    not consider before …

This thread is another way to
    share options …

    Occasionally I will hear
    back from them …

I just received this text message

  6. Yes they do ….

    But this wasn’t a customer

He called me to ask about
    my transport service and in
    the course of our conversation
I provided him with options to
    to consider which included going
    and getting the vehicle himself
or having a family member or friend do it.

He found someone he trusted to go get it

I also suggested he insure it with a
    Hagerty Agreed Upon Value policy
and a Cherished Salvage Value rider

There was a time when folks extended
their hand to shake - not to have their
palm greased - we need to get back
to doing that - participating by
posting here is one way to do that …

    I appreciate your continued positive
comments and support - I also
had someone else post a nice
    comment yesterday thanking me
for sharing my stories from the road …

Hey all I’m looking for some help in shipping a box from 60007 Chicagoland to 94002 California .
It’s not a big box or heavy but you know today’s crazy shipping prices. So a 11x32x47 weight of 35 pounds is 500 bucks FedEx. I would rather put the money into a Hamb member pocket so he can buy more parts:D.
If you can help please let me know thank you

I will be headed from Missouri to Arizona in January of 25 either with empty pickup with 6.5 bed for small stuff or i can pull an open 16Ft trailer for larger load.

I have a friend coming back to Wisconsin from southwestern Colorado the week before Thanksgiving. Empty enclosed trailer. Options going further east might be possible. Let me know if you're interested. Dave

Great idea. I use Fastenal a fair amount however they have divided the US down the middle (Colorado and east is the east zone and west is the West zone) so I (being in Wisconsin) can not ship to the west coast. It would be great if someone along the "county line" could move stuff from the East Fastenal zone to the West Fastenal zone to then enable shipping.
