Need to upgrade the ignition on my 31 Plymouth. Has Chevy 400- .060 over and a 4-71 Blower. seem to have spark issues when I dip into the blower.... Just put a Holley 750 carb for blowers on. Under gas (accel) not getting great firing... I believe spark is being drenched in blown air.... ?????? What should I go with ????
MSD 6AL....blaster coil, MSD probillet dizzy the above gives me a big fat spark like I have never had on my SBC....I had everything there for the car to run but it wouldn't....I stuck the baster coil on and it ran ok, swapped out the Holly control box for the MSD and it runs real strong...My issues were a weak spark and a 750holley basically drowning it...
My suggestion would be for a Vertex Mag and be done with it once and for all. Hottest spark available and price comparing its just as cheap as buying all the other parts seperate... We usually stock a used Vertex.........pm for more info...
