Ignition?

Rebuilding my 55 Olds 324. Want to retain the look of points ingnition but the reliability of electronic ignition. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

GMC Bubba built my ignition real reasonably. It uses an old mallory case so it lookes like an old mallory ignition and has a pertonix unit inside. Doesn't get any better than that.

 

Make the distributor right, put in a Pertronix. You will never have to touch it again

 

I put a Pertronix in my 327 fuel injected engine about 15 years ago....lots of miles with zero trouble.

 

Gmc Bubba also did my distributor, old cast iron unit and even has the dwell window in it.
But behind all the looks is a pertronix module and I don't have a lot of miles on her yet but so far so good.
Bubba is highly recommended.

 

I just put Pertronix in my 324. Big, good difference. And, you can't see any of it. Looks stock.
