I'll have some stupid questions

FNG, I live in Western WI, and I am usually lurking around finding answers about Flathead V8's.

Live in Western WI, I have a lot automotive fabrication experience, but not so much with keeping a 50's car on the road. I just acquired my Great Grandmothers 51 Mercury (see avatar) and am working on getting it back on the road. That is what lead me to this site.
