Thanks but I live near Eau Claire and won't be able to make it. If I could I would but I've already skipped enough of my college cl***es this semester to get a nice warning from my professors. Thanks anyway though

  2. I posted on your other thread about the engine, but about the trans- I don't know jack **** about the Gyro trans, all my cars have had Fluid drive, which in those cars was just a three speed stick with a torque converter. Mostly just a waste of power. If you want to change the trans, but don't want to go through all the work of a modern one, skip the (bolt in) fluid drive and go to the (some modifications) Plymouth standard three speed.

Hey Jed, California's been treating me well.... my dodge isn't out here yet. Waiting for a slow few weeks at work so I can come home for it now.

Hope you get your car up and running. Good luck with it :)

  5. Great start!!! Looks good to me. Very glad to see you chose a pre '55 Mopar, even though I advertised my '53 once and got zip response, I'm glad I still have it now. They're the uncommon rod, and you can practice your flames or whatever on them without worry about ruining something irreplacable or as valuable as your house (like some of the Ford/GM's/muscle Mopars on Gyp-Bay).
Hang in there, you're doing great with your Dodge!!
