Hey yall Ive been away from the board for a while and missed it greatly. Im back and thats great if youll have me? The good and the bad: the good Im still building my truck but!! And, now the bad Im starting over. What, I mean is Im selling everything but the truck body. Im keeping the body and the drop axle and the spindles and maybe the front poise spring? Reason: I was gone from the H.A.M.B. is personal. Sorry, thats all I can say. But, I will say that when I needed help with my problem. I did turn to a friend thats also a H.A.M.B member. VIVA the fiend and the H.A.M.B. Reason for selling: The wife wants a used CRV and I cant stand them. If she buys one those Ill never drive it!!!!!!!(Ill swear to that). And we might be having a kid soon.. The Deal.!!!! That means Ill need to sell the 93 Ranger (128,000 miles) and the 87 jeep Wagoner (225,000 miles)) Both vehicles are not kid safe. So, we settled on if she buys that thing (CRV). Ill still need a truck and I drive year round and long distance and some times pull a small flat bed trailer 6x10. So, Im going traditional but not all the way. Im going with a SBC and all brand new stuff under it. So, if she buys that CRV and I get some money to replace the good old stuff with new stuff. Whatever the difference is from selling the old good stuff is she still will have to give some more money. Things and parts selling: Check the cl***ifieds. I will not be selling the stuff until the spring. First of March. I thought I would offer it up to a H.A.M.B. person before going the eBay. The reason, I need to wait is - I got stuff out being worked on and want to get thing back together. Check the cl***ified for the list and give me a call or a PM. Its good to be back if youll have me because I need all the help I can get especially with a new project in the works. The Brooding Swede
'glad you're back. 'looking forward to progress pics on the truck and your Friday art show contributions. Paul
Swede, Never welcomed you the first time. So, welcome the second. BTW I'm pretty thick skinned so you'll probably never owe me an appology. Now, get that project movin' you got a kid on the way. Congrats
Well about time you came home. The Bonds have been asking about you. Have you checked in with them? Glad to see you didn't let go of the dream. If there's anything I can do to help you out just let me know.
Thanks, John! John, I was out there last week they got some really great stuff going on. A great hot rod shop. I'll see you around. Greg The Brooding Swede
SWEDE, SWEDE, SWEDE, SWEDE, SWEDE, SWEDE, SWEDE.... Sorry I just watched "Heartbreak Ridge" the other night and couldn't help myself. Welcome back...
Well, well well, there you are... I was wondering about you. I thought that maybe pushing that damn truck up the hill without a good flathead may have taken a toll on you. Glad to see everything worked out for you and your back in the flow. Not glad to hear you think you can't make or find a good reliable flathead. You could do that ya know. Welcome back!
Welcome back wus. Seriously, get that truck rolling. I don't care if you gotta put a set of pedals and a bike chain in it. SBC the hell out of it! At least the thing will be breakneck fast. Plus, you can still make a SBC look good. I know you. There won't be any billet and junk on it. Anyhow, welcome back. Get your *** down here and help me with this truck of mine..... Later bro, JT.
Hey Petejoe, Yes I'm back. and yes I've working on the tk. Havn't had to push the truck up the hill for a while. The flatty is great and a very strong runner. But I need something like sbc so ,that I can easly get parts for when I'm on the road. I love the flatty. But, right now it not the right choice for me. Thanks for the welcome back. Now on to the new project. Do you need a new good start on a trad. flatty and frame? Later Zman, Thanks for the welcome back. Later JT, I'll be down as soon as I get my truck done. HAHA! see ya in March. Later ya'll, BS
