What company does that town use? I hear Wallingford has the best run electric company in the state. They actually do maintenance.

    from CT

Wallingford has its own Electric Co, Wallingford Electric. One of a few municipal electric co's in CT. They have steel cables across the top of the poles
to limit the damage from trees.

How about that big pond in the front of the house, I heard you & Barb got "Nekkid" and did a little skinny dipping to cool off, I bet that was refreshing in the heat. :DHRP

CT1932 I'm done with losing power so I got a standby generator hooked up to propane. I won't be filling a portable generator again.

Actually more of an "average"hole. And, really, a bit on the small size for a hole. :)

I have a stand by generator, but my A/C is not on it. That is going to change soon!

I've had a stand-by generator since 1976 when the power company in WV told me they couldn't reliably serve me. It's 4x as heavy and was 4x the cost of what you can by that capacity for these days, but, OTOH, it has lasted almost 50 yars. Originally it ran on natural has, because we had "free gas" on the property, but in central PA, it runs on gasoline. Propane would be nice, but not practical out here in the farmland without a big ugly tank sitting around waiting. It'll run the freezer, refrigerator, water pump and furnace-maybe not all together. We don't use AC-house is built to stay cool. Peace of mind.
