You might stop by Vic Hubbard's one of the oldest speed shops around and check it out and talk to some of the guys they will also probably have some fliers of local events.
You should go by vic hubbards speed and marine on "a" street also in castro valley, super close by, is ron simms bay area customs, and in dublin , about 45 minutes away is arlen ness motorcycles, pretty neet place if you also like bikes. When i was a teenager i worked down there and after work was bored so i would drive down " mission" as far as i could , i would turn around just before i got to oakland, it gets pretty nasty down there, there used to be a "super shops" speed shop on mission blvd. Grab a phone book and check **** out its been tears but i know vic hubbards is still there and there is a bar on mission blvd. Called "rickys raiderland" pretty cool if you like football. Good luck, also u can go to the san jose flee market, hope that helps a little, baylands drag strip has been gone since the eighties i used to go there all the time! '
Aside from the Royal Jokers CC Cruise Night which is always fun, there's a few shows this weekend.
