-Hey, I agree...there is a time and a place-where ya' just gotta' step in and save the tin. IMHO this is definitely a justified case...as long as other's don't read this, and feel they are justified scooping up tin on private land, "since no-one is using it"... Not preaching-I definitely agree in this case...it's just there are some idiots out there just looking for an excuse to swipe stuff stored on private land. Have fun hunting! Wish I could help...

  6. FWIW, some towns now have all the tax maps available online, so if anyone else is in this situation, it may be possible to track down a property owner right from the computer. Unless it's state or federal land, either someone somewhere is paying taxes on it, or the local municipality will auction it off to someone else who will pay them.

I remember a few months back a kid saying he was going to go steal some stuff and you all jumped on his **** like he was the s*** of the earth... now everyone's jumping on the "go for it" band wagon. I don't get it... stealing is stealing. Just because you stole it before someone else did doesn't make it right.

  11. The spanish have a saying (Take what you want you will pay for it)! We moved to where we live now three years ago. Our old place is three miles away Granted it looks abandoned But we still own it I have left 4 bulldozers and 20 cars and a bunch of junk there. It look like i dont care But i do thieves have been there. Just last week my son went over there and some tressp***er was there on a bicycle He hid in the woods. So my son loaded up the bike and took it home. In my opinion a thief is a thief no matter what the cir***stance:mad:. OldWolf

  13. Someone asked what ever happened... I think the cars were crushed for emission credits and Rixrex is now buried on the land in question. That "Mr. Moreno" sounded like a shady character...

    Relax, I'M JFK!

    What took you so long?

  19. No my son confin****ed the bike. He hollered and told the guy to come out from hiding or he was going to take it. Our old place is fenced and tressp***ing signs and paint is clearly visible. All the owner of the bicycle has to do is come by and claim the bike. Of course i will have him arrested for tressp***ing. OldWolf:)
