Fritztown, the only problem if there is one is where the driver is sitting. The driver must sit between the front and rear axle, looks like this guy is sitting over the rear like a FED.
Actually, in that car he's good for HA/GR as is, with a tire change and the (possible) exception of the head. I'm not sure whether the "exotic after market" head rule would apply or not.
I'll take that as an OK on this concept. The head would be OEM on this Old6- I just showed the headers on the right side to work out the body etc. The chassis and body stuff is low cost/high labor (I can handle that). The engine is not my expertise - so I figure on a well built stock block etc. Thanks, Thingy - I would prefer old sheet metal if possible. I won't get this rig together buy Mo-Kan but I'll be there to learn from you guys.
I LOVE IT!!!!! During my initial parts gathering I ran across an offset pinion Dana 44 that made me think of the same layout. DO IT!!!!
That's BADA$$! Looks good to me, go with it, as far as fiberglass goes I don't see anything in the rules saying you can't. Rocky
