hey guys, been following a few build threads for a few weeks and i thought i would make an account so anyways, for the past couple days ive been talking to this guy that i wanted to buy a truck off of, so this truck has been siting around the corner from my house for the past 20 years, so after agreeing to a price i went with my dad to pick it up today so here are the specs, its a 75 ford f150 first year for the f150, its got a 390 2 barrel, and 3 on the tree. and its a very solid truck , the only bad spots on it are the rad support cab corners and the bed, so here are the pics ps i was to busy to take pics so these are not to great. oh and just for ya to know, im only 16
By now I'm sure you are aware of the pre 65 rules,,but not to cut you off at the knees congratulations on your first ride. Posting photos of a post '65 auto is just asking for some sort of bad comments,,I encourage you to hang around and put some of the things you can learn from the enormous amount of knowledge here to good use. Use your new found truck to hone your skills and when the time is right I'm sure you will be able to share your next car/truck with the membership here. Guys like you are the future of Hot Rods & Customs. HRP
Your obvious enthusiasm is refreshing. However, as mentioned by HotRodPrimer in post above, sit back and read and learn. A 1975 anything just doesn't fit in here. Although, your pickup would make an excellent tow vehicle to pull a trailer home with a traditional hot rod or custom project. You are wlecome, but don't mention that 75 again or else. YOU have been WARNED!! (smiling)
Judging from his deleted thread, I think he gets it. Good luck Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
