That is a historic piece of Ridgefield, Gary sandblasted it for me. It almost went through the trunk floor of a friends Impala when he offered to take it home for me. That may be one of the few restorations I can claim to be finished.

  2. Bob, let me guess: George Washingtons dog peed on it during the revolution?

Making a walk through looking for stuff to add to my Hershey pile. Sure would be nice to move enough stuff to buy a Steadfast sub rail kickup kit. Bob

Two months and nothing has been done on the Roadster, I did clear away enough junk to get to, if you call that progress. Hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving. Bob DSCF5695.JPG DSCF5702.JPG

  7. I'd call it progress, little steeps are better than none at all.

Just started reading your thread. Didn't get past the first page and noticed the sheet rock ceiling and crown molding. Are you being accused of misappropriation of living space? Lol.

Crown molding allows you to just put one coat of tape and mud on, sure you could leave it off but I'd know it wasn't there. Bought a rock jack for the garage work, may finish off the basement this winter. If all the crap got moved to the other side of the basement, and the "shop" side had the Roadster and Steelback, I might make some visible progress this winter. Not finishing projects isn't limited to cars and trucks, or motorcycles now that I think of them. Bob

  21. Bob, you have consistently not finished projects, in epic proportions and first class quantities.
wasn't there a Carly simon song "nobody doesn't do it better"?:D

DSCF5737.JPG DSCF5738.JPG Got to the front wall, think I'll reset the cabinets and install a bench top then work my way back to the back wall with all things organized along the way.

  24. Bob, you might want to take care of that hanging light socket in post #336, then on to the automotive fun :D!
