I read somewhere cars take up a lot less room if fully assembled. Is Bobby 16 yet?

my brother and i wore the tires off it...
my uncle at BIW used machine gun to deck rubber pads as wheels,
3" diam. by 2" wide rears and he cut one in half on a ban saw for the fronts...

I started another thread on the 45 +Year old SEARS Compressor Dad & I bought new but could never plug in and use. Hope to get it up and running to prime some sandblasted Roadster pieces next month. It was stored in the back of the understairs closet in the basement. Photos show some if the neat stuff that was in there. Pair 500/19 Parelli tires, shoot pack from the U.S. Mule II, Two drilled Model C crankshafts, half of a 1932 Ford B cam, and a NOS Model T crank that came out of a Ford dealership that closed in 1933.

That body table I started on Fathers Day, has legs and the top is squared up. Need another $20.00 worth of hardware to attach the bottom 2x8's. Hope to have the wheels on it and painted for my 72nd birthday or Christmas.

I'm starting to realize that flat surfaces are a problem, not one piece of the Roadster body is on that table.

Nice table, Kid! I just finished a rolling shop table for my tub body to sit atop... Heavy steel table is 36 inches by 72 inches, adjustable height legs. My wife made brackets that I welded to 2" X 4" rectangular tube axle tubes, bolted 5" casters to them. Roller...
Crap. Just remembered, October 19 I turned 80.
'27 T tub will need cross runners to support the body's width, (My frame table would work, but I like the lightweight rolling steel one...)

How old is Bobby? I think he's wanting to drive when he's 16.

  20. Happy New Year, Bob. Maybe Bobby could learn to do auto wiring in the next six years. JW

Found myself working on the drivers side rear quarter, lots of dents to work out of the top bead and old brass to remove. Just time, and no money invested, good start for the new year. [IMG]

The two side rails came out of hiding, the top to the body table is under the cowl, the new table is in the other room in the basement. Goal is to clean out everything and mate the top to the table. There should be some undiscovered or lost items to list and make a few bucks so both projects could see some progress.

  23. There is always the problem with flat surfaces....it produces the challenge to cover them up. JW

There is a stack of 1x12 pine, the thought of building shelves has entered my mind.

These Moon look-a-like clip on caps didn't last long on the HAMB classifieds, on their way to the West Coast. Thanks J.Ukrop!
