  1. Good score Bob and nothing stopping you now, make sure you leave enough room this winter to get the work done. JW

You start that thread and let me know. I'll climb on board.

I was in Virginia City last week where a friend is clearing out a BUNCH of T parts. There was a rack of windshield frames. A collection of a lifetime sf solid desert finds. Only 2 sorta complete cars and no real hot rod worthy stuff. I didn't brin a new project home but it haunts me.

Thanks! I read that wrong first time around and though about "room" in social calendar, room in the basement is now job one, can you find the '32 rails? This is 360 degree view of things. DSCF1281.JPG DSCF1282.JPG DSCF1284.JPG DSCF1283.JPG

The kid next door knocked on my door and asked to look through my back yard for a Frisbee that he chucked over the fence. We walked around all the stuff and could not find it. "How did you find so much cool stuff?" was his reply after the failed search. That made my day.

Your basement = my shop. Makes me glad we only have 80 acres and we didn't get it until I was 27.

Fair amount of progress today, Keeping stuff out of the work area is something that needs policing. Tomorrow I plan to make a rack/shelf over the oil tank to store the Roadster quarters and steelback doors.

That early 1928 chassis is going outside tomorrow, and the body gets spun 90 degrees, this move is going very well. :)

No, Thankfully he out grew that, but he's trained me to give him a dog biscuit in exchange for a paper towel he'll take out of the trash.

Hard part is over, got the '28 frame out from under the Steelback body, now it is just a matter of moving stuff around. At the rate I'm going the '37 X member could be sitting on the '32 rails tomorrow.

That's how things ended today Steelback body is next to the staircase wall and out of the way. sitting of three stacks of milk crates stacked two high, that allows storage space under it. I can put more stuff inside. Happy with how things are moving, found a few odds & ends I forgot I had, fun day.

How are you moving this stuff? Must be eating your Wheaties with a couple of spinach breaks a day!

I've always enjoyed moving stuff, figured this rock was around 900 pounds, in the wall now two feet off the ground. The wall project was moving along nicely until I lost interest.

Project is on hold until the front and rear spreader bars appear. Stored them some place real safe.

I spent an hour yesterday searching the shop for my big carpenter square. It was right where I put it, just under a bunch of stuff I put in top of it. Bigger shop or less treasure? That is the question!

I understand the dilemma.... It's easier to build another shed than it is to clean up the one full of treasures :p

That top trim & Ford oval turned up in a box of 1960's & '70's Ford fender trim pieces, a real surprise, check out the fit, two Henry Ford made pieces that are 93 years old and united for the first time. That grille insert started it all and has been on my wall for 63 years.

That is factory paint on the grille bars. I got the grille in 1961 so it has only seen the outdoors for 29 years.

Beautiful! It is cool the feelings that some parts and pieces can evoke just on their own. That "just right" feeling is among them.

Double parked shelving & vertical storage. I wound up with a 6 X 12 open floor area before the folding table was added. Really happy with how it all turned out.
