Hi guys, I've been lurking for a couple of years but as each days goes by I find myself more aligned with the attitudes and personalities on the HAMB. I've built rods all my life and my latest is on Boones foto site in Hot Rod Dave's folder. Yes it is a Viper engine in a '32, but it is not a crate engine - I'm not a gold chainer with a fat wallet or large plastic. I did lots of metal work to save the body and lots of aluminum welding to save the engine. Then wasted lots of brain cells figuring out how to make it all work. I've done a lot of hot rodding in my life and have lots of experience. Hope I can help some of you with problems and make it to some HAMB events. You guys are the future of the old hot rods and customs.
Big mill small body that's Hot Rodding, getting your own hands dirty in the process that's even better. I doubt if I'm the future of Hot Rodding but welcome anyway. The PKnBner OH give me a link to your picture.
Are you the dude ABONE was racing when he gutted his ride? We like pics!!! Welcome! RASHY
Well you got past Curious Rash, I guess your in! Piss on the pic`s, I wanna see video. If you truly have been around here for a couple years then you know that we like donuts!! A Viper powered deuce should do some wicked donuts SO.....lets see!! Think of it as initiation!!
Man, a Viper mill in a '32, that might rip a person's nuts clean off. Wow! Welcome to the HAMB. I'm glad to hear that while you have some ultra modern stuff going on there that you do your own work. I don't really care what a person rides to tell the truth but it bugs me when guys say things like, "Yeah, we put in a balanced and blueprinted v-10, did the interior in fine corinthian leather, and frenched and shaved the body." But then you find out that the 'we' means a bunch of craftsmen that he paid and that fella didn't do one of those damn things himself. That's the issue I have with the fat wallets and big plastic guys. They seem to take credit for other's work because they paid for it. Anyway, I'd love to see that '32 run sometime. Going to the HAMB drags? Have fun on here, BDE
Welcome to Delta house...! Wingnutz here..., "Rush Chairman"..., "Damn glad to meet you...!" Are we talking HAMB Drags with this thing???? Mark
Welcome to the HAMB sir. You come here with a great attitude. Hands on IS what it's all about, no matter what make and model hotrod you are working, But it does help you have 32 Ford Two years of lurking is a long tlme. Time to join the fun. Did you do the wiring on your project? I would think that would be the most challenging aspect. Oh yeah, did we mention we NEED to see pics.
Welcome - Where did you find a V-10 and were you able to get away with out a computer? Who was in front when the Pontiac let go?

Flamedabone is a good buddy. In our inpromptu acceleration contest, he jumped first then I stayed even behind him. We intend to get it on at the strip soon. For now I just keep ribing him about weak poncho parts! Just for further intro - I hold the 1mile land speed record at Maxton, NC in the flathead street roadster class = 121.456. Flatheads, V10s I'm really confused.
That look like a killer ride. Are you going to run a hood? I'll bet the v-10 will fly in mile. I hope Abone gets his stuff back together
Hey Dave, I found it.... Dave is a great guy and know his Hot Rods.. if you look at my link below and look under the friends folder, there are pics of Dave's 32 and a ratty 31 on duece rails he put together and somewhere is his regularily driven 32 roadster...
Now that Boones drug this up, I'll toss my hat in the ring too. Yes, this is the car I was WHUPPIN THE***** OUT OF when my******* (etc.)let go. In all fairness, if we ever get side by side at a real 1/4 mile, I might not have too much luck. That car hauls*****ing****. Also, Dave is an outstanding fabricator, (from whom I steal both ideas and parts) and definately makes chicken sammwiches out of*************. -Abone.
WELCOME to the HAMB, girls and sun here in Florida if ya need some, beers in the frig. Let's just do it the old way........
Welcome DAVE............. Dave is a good guy and fellow 32 club member. I have known Dave 20 years or more. Stand - up kind of guy.........and will be a great****et to the HAMB. Randy
hey dave, welcome aboard. i've been in dave's garage and got an immediate woody for all the early flat head stuff and some crazy motor parts that i'd never thought i would get to see and touch.
