I'm probably too old to still be doing this, but my love for american steel still pushes me on.

Growing up in the Midwest one of my fondest memories was waiting for the September New Car Models being unveiled by the Big three. We knew every make and model, like some kids knew every baseball player. My brothers 50 Mercury "Smelled" just Right! The Nailhead in my Dad's Buick sounded like powerful music! To this day, going through the gears... brings a wonderful feeling, and memories of my cars long gone. I still believe in Three Pedals. So at 70 years old I (think) I'm starting on my Last car. I've had coupes from the 30's thru the 50's and loved and missed every one of them. I have come back to my 55 Chevy Bel Air 2 door hardtop for my last ride. I still use Pine scented air fresheners in it! It's in my DNA!

Welcome their are a lot of us here that are in our 70.s You left out your location. The cops in my area will search your car if you have air fresheners in your car. They think it is to cover some type of smoke smell that I know nothing about..

  3. Welcome Quacker,
Glad you stopped "lurking" & joined. There is a lot of good information here & more importantly a bunch of good people. Thank you for the feedback & I enjoyed meeting you & your wife as well as bringing your "55" from Texas.

I am OK Bill. Bill has transported several cars and a few trips to pick up large parts; I have been very satisified with Bills services.
