I was deleting a site that I never visit from my favorites..... and I deleted the whole fuckin lot!!!

Anyone know how to save a dumb clutz like myself from doing more harm!!!???

Better still is there somewhere on this 'puter where the info is stored. I've got a few of the sites from the history section - but all the cookies in the 'puter say the same thing.

    Cheers

Do you have a program called "GoBack" or something like it that allows you to pick a date and time in the past to reset your computer to? That's the only way I know to do it.I'm a dummy, too !!! [IMG]

They should be in the Recycle Bin.
Open it, Right click on the links or the name of the folder they were in, Then click Restore...
    Hope this helps [IMG]

Go Back is a software program created by Apple for PC's.
Its a lifesaver. The new XP operating system has it installed right into the system. Rather thatn spending 100.00 for the Go back program your better off updating your operating system to XP for the same price. Its a hell of alot faster with better gismos. The goback feature will also allow you to return your puter to original condition during a web browser hijack problem. Been there.

  10. Updating is great if you have a newer machine with enough memory. XP uses more memory for itself as an OS than most older puters have total.
Check into it before you spend money and get more #%*@ at yourself.

Thanks for clarifying that Steve. With the cost of computers nowadays I took for granted most people had enough memory. But then again when we spend all our peanuts on Hotrods who has money for stupid things like computers.
Puters are cool... but not compared to a good ole hotrod. [IMG]
