Hello - New to the site, and new to the older car rebuilds. I live in Northern Colorado. I have had many projects over the years, and both my sons built their first cars in our garage. We have worked on numerous motorcycles too. But both boys are out of the house and I've always wanted to build a nice cruiser to drive around in with my wife. She seems to only like the 50's style, so I came upon a 1953 that is pretty decent so that's where I'm starting.
I will start a build thread with my numerous questions too.
Site is awesome, I have been lurking for some time. Thanks for all the info that is here!

Welcome from the Springs. Nice 53, always good to get the wife on board, makes life and the build a lot easier.

Thanks guys. Wheels will come at some point, but I don't mind the look with the rally's now. My short term plans are a CE M2 cross member and a FI 5.7 / Auto swap.
