I'm shipping off to Austin......

Heading to the airport at 7:30 in the morn, I'll be there from tomorrow until after the Roundup. Hope to meet lots of you guys while I'm there. I'm ****ing stoked! Heres a pic so you know me if you see me!

 

Not sure where you are staying, but steer clear of Central Austin tomorrow when you get in. The Motorola Marathon is in the morning and a bunch of roads will be shut down and traffic will be worse than usual.

Other than that, we'll see ya around town.

I do, just don't have anything that's avatar worthy AND consistent. I'm Darren M. on MANY other sites (metalmeet.com, corner-carvers.com, etc) and use this avatar, or close to it, and feel that a unified position is better than one who fic***iously tries to appease everyone. Besides Bob's tampon inflimation and obvious discomfort, I want to make sure you try to have the BEST time in Austin you can. I lived there for 2 years and can a ttest that that city is AWESOME! Go down town EVERY NIGHT! ALWAYS!! Yeah, you'll miss some times and it will be dead but most of the time 6th street will be hopp'n and it will be great. If you can't find a party in Austin, you're not look'n hard enough!

yep, going down to do some stuff before the roundup. Gonna have some cool stuff at the show! Got a new digi-cam so I'll have alot of pics to post here and stuff for the portfolio.

Nah, not out of Thomas's place....not really sure where yet really, maybe just a random garage someplace! We'll figure it out as we go.

Got into town this afternoon, Waited for Joyo to get off work then went and checked out his truck & South Austin Speed shop for a bit, drank a lonestar, now I'm takin' my *** to bed! As soon as I get things moving along I'll be trying to meet up with everyone around and check out more shops.

 

Lucky buggar, I was looking forward to attending again this year, but job and geographical location prohibits it this year. I still remember what a great time the family and I had last year at the Roundup. Maybe next year.

 

you gotta come by and check out our new shop Justin. I've got a garage you can spray in....POSSIBLY. If you were here a few months later, we'll be having TWO booths. One for primer and a real expensive one for paint...of course you'd never get to use that...ever...ever...ever...

There are enough cars in Cali for all the flakers in the world, like i said before, there are guys like us that are gonna learn and do it ourselves, or get someone who is learning to do it cheap and then there is guys that are willing to pay $2500 for a flaked roof, i know that im not the latter.

I would still love to get you here to do some work, its just a matter of getting enough people together, i think i even have a booth we could use.
