Two trips to the Dakotas later, our "clear out the junk" initiative has backfired. Back yard's full! I think that this hobby will one day consume me.
Most of it'll be up for sale soon. Gotta clear stuff out so we can work on something for once. It's like a 46-48 emporium around here.
If you moved in next door to me, you'd have a new best friend whether you wanted one or not. I bring beer with me though. What's the story with the A?
Just brought the A back from South Dakota yesterday. It's a 28 leatherback, really complete (rumble decklid is there, garnish mouldings, etc). Just the body, we left the chassis there as it was junk. Going to be selling it as soon as we can, just gotta get it all together and pictures.
I live in the city and have 7 cars...I just had to stop and double count . But I keep the mostly complete projects in the driveway...the basket cases are either inside or out in the backyard. When you have to push a chassis around to mow the grass, and come up with a cool way to mow under a car up in the air you know you have problems! But I'm lucky...last time I did any real work outside, one of my neighbors came with beer and bravely poured gas in a carb to keep the car running (beer helps add bravery). Glad I'm not the only one with more projects than garage space!
