Hey everyone, I’m new to the H.A.M.B. and just wanted to introduce myself. A friend of mine who knows more about this scene recommended I post here. I recently came across two old engines that were crated and stored in a building that’s close to 80 years old. They look like display or educational pieces, but I'm not 100% sure of either. I am someone who appreciates old mechanical stuff and wants to see it go to a good home. I figured this community would be the best place to ask questions and find the right buyer. I’ll be listing one of the engines in the Parts For Sale section soon. From what I can tell it's a turbocharged 2.0L Ford Pinto engine with plaques from AK Miller, AiResearch, and IMPCO. It's clean and display-mounted. If you have any questions about my posts or want more info, feel free to reach out. Looking forward to learning more and connecting with you all. – Brent (Mississippi)
Welcome, Brent! Everybody, please welcome Brent. He's a great guy trying to help close out an old shop in Mississippi. I met him via Facebook Marketplace and traveled the Natchez Trace Parkway from Nashville down to Jackson, MS and bought some parts for my LPG powered '30 Buick. I saw the Ak Miller Turbo Ford in the crate and suggested he list it here and at Turbo-Ford.
