Save the Pics to your hardrive on your desktop and upload to your thread from there rather than your pic host, but first delete the images from your posts from the post area and from the upload area below the post area if they are there. I generally upload images from my computer to the post area and select full image...rather than drag and drop. save and post and verify the post images are correctly posting.

Thanks Stogy, I was hoping to avoid that as uploading fills up the HAMB servers where as directing as a link doesn't, but I might have to.

Hey @cederholm your thread still has the dreaded red x's...ohhhh I hate them...:D

Another thing is once you post them to your thread from your computer you can actually delete them from your computer once they are in your thread.

Okay @Stogy I think the X's are gone. My images are all whacky sizes but that is an issue for another day.;)

Maybe it's because I'm a bit involved with photography, but I have to at least add to this that you should only consider deleting your photos from your computer if....

*You consider your photos to be disposable.

*Or you desperately need the disc space on your computer.

*Or you'll never want to make prints from your photos.

*Or if you'll never want to post them anywhere else online.

They'll be stored OK on Ryan's servers for the foreseeable future, but maybe not forever. I wouldn't want this to be my only means of storing my photos. If you want them off of your computer at least consider burning copies to CDs or copy your image files onto a USB thumb drive and safely store it away.

Yes I guess I should have suggested that in light of saying that you could even delete the pic off your drive once its posted as your reasoning for not deleting are very valid.

Nowadays m***ive drives are the norm in computers and then there is reasonably priced Portable Drives in the Terra Bytes.

Myself I delete very little but I have to someday do a little organizing as some folders are kinda huge...:D
