This is new. Cl***ified I posted a few minutes ago has all red x images. The links work fine when I open them directly, as well as when I load them remotely from another site (hotlinking), but as of today, it looks like HAMB breaks the external link.

    See--

    Code:
    https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/proxy.php?image=https%3A%2F%2Ffarm5.staticflickr.com%2F4701%2F39812501752_8cdd38205d_b.jpg&hash=27a6c01a9f95120923ad3aa729299614
Above is the "image" link on my post after creating a cl***ified posting today (right-click image/red x, copy image address). Here's what an otherwise identical link looks like from a post I made last week--

    Code:
    https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/proxy.php?image=https%3A%2F%2Ffarm5.staticflickr.com%2F4662%2F39754567042_ced92b6957_h.jpg&hash=cf652bb6fb5798c909c4f9d632afb597

Edit to add: Images show up just fine when I go to edit the post and am in Rich text editor mode... pics are all there. When I save the edit and return to the actual post... red x's.

Edit 2: I did a quick workaround for my post by copying images to an album set to public, then linking from there. If you visit the actual cl***ified listing, you'll see the pics showing up... those are the ones linked from the HAMB album. Below those, I left the red x's from the hotlinked images for you, in case that helps with any debug. I'll shut up now.

Thanks, but that doesn't address the issue... just lets me sidestep it. My external repository has worked without issue since at least 2007... the fact that it is currently not working means something changed somewhere. And that is still working from any other hotlinked location I have tried means the change is most likely on the HAMB side. That could have pretty HUGE impact not unlike the recent Photobucket issue that killed a decade of really good pictured threads. Or... it could be something trivial.
