    I don’t think the would look good without some whether it be from another car or stock. There have been thousands of customs but I don’t remember any with no side trim… I’m guessing a drag or old ct car.

  7. You're probably right, but I've never seen a 'naked' Crown Vic and thought it would be interesting to see what they look like and how they differ from the rest.

  14. The Crown is more than just a Victoria with extra trim. There's a large B pillar behind that trim as well as additional bracing in the roof. The quarter windows/inner structure are unique to the car, and it used the heavy-duty 'X' braced convertible frame as well. If you wanted to convert a regular Vicky to Crown, the degree of difficulty is roughly the same as doing a 4dr to 2dr conversion.
