Don't bother me what other people do. Gona paint mine what ever I like. Flat,satin, Shiney or leave it rust.LOL

 

wouldn't that be the same as someone painting a 32 coupe, with 2008 honda red paint ????

that show is so stupid on so many levels...i watched it two times,,and at the same time...my first and last time..,




..oh yeah,back to this topic,,,that is nothing new at all,,,,

,my cousin(who lives in vegas and DOESNT do anything unless its certified cool) did his civic AND stunt bike flat black about 3 years ago....ive seen mini trucks/s10's out here in the south/midwest flatblacked,whitewalls,pinstriped etc for about the same 3-4 years....

nothing new,,,i believe at sema a couple or few years ago mercedes and a few others all had flat black rides,...

i agree with Jeem...be original,,PAINT your ride!

 

I actually just finished sanding the flat off my 54 last night... and it will be painted. it wasn't the point that I CARE what they paint their car... and NO, no one ever said that you have to be a hot rod to be painted flat black... I just thought it was comical... thought that POSSIBLY a few others had noticed the same... I'm sure they'd all get a good laugh if they saw a 49 shoebox with an oriental symbol for "speed" on the rear quarter also!
