I need new drum brakes allround. My dad said i'll need to get power brakes too for safety reasons maybe a new carb too it has a 283 with a two barlle carb, but my uncle will probubly help me with that .
Welcome from Wisconsin! -Just unloaded my 65 impala convert this summer. Looks like you got a good 'un! Power brakes are easy; ****loads of aftermarket kits for your 66 are out there, if you don't mind getting spendy. Junkyard '66 set-ups (then rebuilt) would fare better, IMO.
just found out I don't need to get master cylinder drums or anything i only need to get brake lines. that took alot off my chest and meens I'll have a lot more in my wallet.
